Green People makes Organic Children SPF25 Sun Lotion especially for babies and children and this can be used from 6 months onwards. It has been designed to filter out both UVA and UVB rays, and is also a water-resistant formulation to last longer.

Apply before going in the sun

As with all sun creams, apply liberally at least 30 minutes before exposure to the sun to give the filter time to become active. Also, remember to re-apply regularly, and especially after bathing.

Measuring sun cream

It is currently recommended that you should measure the amount of sun cream you need by pouring it into your cupped hand. For a child, pour into their cupped hand instead. This should equal 2mg per cm2.
